Wedding Planner

ing is one of the critical points of one’s lifetime. It is both a celebration and a starting point of a new phase in our lives. Most of all, it is a gathering of families and friends acknowledging your joy, as they give you the support that you need to wake up the next morning ready to build your family. That is why there is so much pressure in wedding planning, and when the tasks get over our head, a wedding planner can help calm us down.

Where Do We Start?

Planning your wedding is definitely a tall task compared to organising other events. One reason why would-be brides get stressed over wedding plans is that they intend to do this only once. Since weddings can only be done so many times, couples try to build the most memorable event ever.

The first thing a bride would ask is – where do we start? This is an easy question with a lot of answers. Planning a wedding can easily be overwhelming if you do not start at the right places. A wedding planner will tell you that a wedding is just like any other event, and if you have managed a party before, you should draw on that experience to help you start your wedding plans.

The first thing that you should do is hire a wedding planner. Some would-be brides prefer to plan on their own, thinking that by hiring a wedding planner, they will have less to do with the wedding. In fact, a good wedding planner should allow you to be involved in the process as much as possible.

Describing A Wedding Planner

Planning a wedding is no easy task. If it was easy, then wedding planners would be out of work. Even simple decisions like the theme of the wedding, the flower selection, and the number of guests can be excruciating without the right guidance.

Their job is to put all your ideas and implement them feasibly. The key in wedding plans is that it should be your idea, and that your wedding planner is only there to guide you to the right direction. Trustworthy wedding planners always seek your opinion, and they rarely make big decisions without your final word. With a wedding planner, your input and ideas will be organized, so everything can come together nicely on your wedding day.

Planning Tips

A wedding planner is not enough to throw a great wedding party. You and your close friends should lead the planning and visualise what you really want out of your wedding. The easiest advice for engaged couples is to schedule the wedding smartly. The agreed wedding date should give you enough time to plan everything. If you want a large wedding, it is best to plan six months to a year in advance. For simpler weddings, three months is a good time frame.

Once you establish a date, start enlisting friends and loved ones that are committed to throwing a perfect wedding. Some friends may share your enthusiasm, but they might not be committed enough to spend time organising the party. If your friends lend you their time, show your appreciation with a nice gesture.

After enlisting your friends, it is time to hire the right professionals to help plan your wedding. Of course, first in the list is the wedding planner. You also need to hire a wedding photographer, a band for the reception, a chef, venue finders, wedding tailors, and designers. Your first priority above all else is to hire an excellent wedding planner. You can then ask the planner to hire the professionals for you, or give you a list of contacts, so you can decide for yourself. Assemble the best team at the right price. As much as you want to do all the planning, learn to delegate and give them room to work.

The most important aspect of all wedding plans is the budget. There is only so much you can do with the budget that you have. New couples are surprised when they realize how much it costs to run a wedding. It is very crucial to sit down with your partner to talk about the financial cost of the wedding. Have your wedding planner explain what kind of wedding is possible with the budget that you have. Settle with a definite budget as early as possible. Even if you feel that you have more than enough savings to spend on a wedding, you have to consider if the savings could be more useful if you invest it for the future.

The real wedding experience starts with laying out your wedding plans. Consult with your wedding planner for guidance. It also helps if you become a student of the craft. A good relationship with your wedding planner will lead to a great wedding finale and a nice start to your marriage.

Miami Holiday Apartments. Be At Home On Vacation

As a holiday getaway, Florida attracts more than its fair share of tourists. Over 1.5 million Britons, for example, traveled to Florida in 2005, a staggering number when you think that the feelings towards the US throughout Europe have not been as positive as it was before 9/11.

Florida boasts some of most beautiful beaches around notwithstanding the obvious popularity of our theme parks in and around Orlando. Miami in particular with its rich diversity of people from Latin America, the Caribbean Islands, Europe and elsewhere is a unique melting post of cultures and languages.

If you travel to Miami with your family, then you will know that staying in crammed hotels, however luxurious or fancy they might be, may not be the solution for you and your family.

Miami Vacation Apartments are an ideal alternative for you and your family. They may not provide room service although some hotels have suites that are equipped with the usual amenities provided by conventional apartments, but they provide more room for your money.

Miami Holiday Apartments come in all regular combination of sizes, number of room (from one bedroom to 3 bedrooms and sometimes even more). They are fully furnished and equipped and boast the usual kitchen, lounge and dining room available in any home.

They are truly your home away from home, and with the additional space they provide, they will also most likely enable you to save a whole bunch of money on nightly rates when compared to hotel accommodation but also savings on meals taken at home rather than hotels for example.

Families can travel and explore their holiday destination and then come home to relax and rest in the privacy of their own bedrooms.

One last thing to consider when searching for a holiday apartments is that they are also called Vacation Condos, Miami Holiday Accommodation or even Vacation Apartments.

Trying to Book Holiday Vacation With a Tight Budget?

Holidays is a time for fun, bonding and unwinding the stress from everyday’s work. It is also a great experience to keep friends and families stick together. Sad to think, but holidays are not for everybody. It can be really difficult to build the fund to enjoy a great holiday for most of the people out there.

Costs of a good holiday are quite expensive especially those that are offered in the best destinations. And a lot of families miss out this opportunity because of their finances. If having a tight budget keeps you from getting your family or friends a good holiday then you might consider finding solutions and opt for a cheap holiday. So if you are worried that you cannot have a good holiday on a budget then you are wrong. Let’s say cheap holidays are always behind in quality against the expensive ones offered in the best destination. But the thing about cheap holidays is the fun you get by the time you get there. Many people think that cheap means trashy but if you look around on the internet you can find some great cheap holidays and cheap flights too.

So why would you choose a cheap holiday? People would normally think that whatever that comes cheap comes less. Sadly, that is quite true but this is certainly not the case. Cheap holidays offers people who can’t afford the luxurious package the holiday for their given budget. The package will not be as much as the pricy one but you can still make the most of your own venture by the time you get there. Cheap holidays grants families, friends or even businesses to enjoy their holidays or socialising without worrying about paying over the odds for the experience.

To find cheap holidays, the use of the internet is a must. Browsing through Google is the best way to start looking for possible holidays that comes with bargains and discounts. Flight tickets and hotel accommodations are two of the most expensive things that could affect your budget. So I recommend that you should better start off by finding cheap hotels, rooms or cottages and flight tickets. Type the right keywords in your search like “cheap holiday hotels” this could narrow or broaden the results and would help you pick faster. The magazines and newspapers are also a good source of information by holiday retreats and ventures. In some cases, you will find advertisements for holidays and flights in magazines or even discounted hotel stays.

Another thing you might consider are tour operator packages. Try to compare their holiday deals with your personal set of flight tickets and hotel accommodations. Compare the price and quality with regards to your budget and always look out for the normal prices, these are precious info if you want to haggle yourself for a discount.

So, if you would like to go on holiday with your family but you have a budget to keep, try looking around for some good deals. Some of the best deals for a holiday doesn’t always come expensive, you just have to be in the exact time and place to purchase them. Discounted rates don’t stay long in the internet since many people are also waiting for this rare opportunities. The best thing you should do, is subscribe to their newsletters and keep yourself updated for incoming discounts and bargains.

Wedding Invitations and Stationery Australia How To: Wedding Invitation Wording – Informal/Modern

This is an interesting article written for informal or modern wedding invitation wording.

There are a few rules you should keep in mind when wording your wedding invitation and stationery:

Who is inviting your guests?

The style of wedding invitation and dress code should match the wording of your wedding invitation

Check your spelling and grammar

Wedding invitation wording can be a contentious issue!!! The wedding invitation wording isn’t always based on who is paying or who is paying the most! Weddings are emotional times for families and friends, so it’s always best practice to be upfront and flexible.

If your preference is for a more modern, casual or relaxed wedding, you should consider the following when constructing your wedding invitation wording:

? Modern wedding invitation wording does not typically use titles before names

? Use relaxed language, eg. ‘&’ instead of ‘and’

? The inclusion of phone numbers and email address in RSVP details

Once again it is important to be clear about who is inviting your guests, with more modern wedding invitation wording your options increase. For example: the bride’s family may be hosting the guests, the bride and groom may be hosting the guests or the bride, groom and all parents may be hosting the guests!

Sample wedding invitation wording, where the bride, groom and all parents are hosting the guests.

Kay & Clint

together with their families

would love

…………………..

to celebrate their marriage

………………….

You may also like to incorporate the use of a short poem or romantic saying on your wedding invitation, for example:

You have shared in our children’s lives and now we

Alan & Robyn Stoles

are delighted to invite you,

Todd, Regan & Samantha

to celebrate the love and marriage of

Ava and Harrison

at

………………

on

……………

Once again, the wedding invitation wording and dress code could coordinate, for example if you would like a beach, cocktail or garden wedding, where the dress code is casual, lounge suit or after five, then your wedding invitation language should reflect this.

Another issue is which printer is the most suitable for printing your invitation.

The first question you should ask yourself when choosing to print your wedding invitations is, laser or inkjet?

Printer options can greatly affect your wedding stationery choices, below are some useful tips on what printer you can choose to print your wedding invitations.

If you are creating your own wedding invitations, the printer you are using can determine your paper choices. Many manufactures will state on their packaging what printer the paper is compatible with – test printing is always advised if you are unsure. Some papers with inclusions and most handmade papers are not print compatible at all, so choose wisely.

A useful tip to keep in mind when selecting your wedding invitation paper and stationery is, if the paper is metallic or pearlescent, it isn’t suitable for an inkjet printer. The wet ink does not adhere to the metallic/pearlescent surface of the paper and therefore will not dry and simply smudge off. You can purchase a special pouch to rub over these papers which places a coating on the paper and then you can use it in your inkjet printer. Once again, test printing is always advised.

If it does not state on the manufacturers labeling what printer the paper is compatible with, consult the customer service representative. Always ask which printer the paper is compatible with, this includes your envelopes.

What’s the difference between printers?

The difference between laser and inkjet printers is heat, toner and ink.

A laser printer works with heat and dry toner, like a photocopier and takes large barrel-type toner cartridges. Laser printers are usually more expensive to purchase, especially colour laser printers, however are generally more economical to run in terms of consumables (toner).

An inkjet printer works with wet ink and takes smaller flat box-type ink cartridges. Inkjet printers are usually less expensive to purchase compared to a laser printer, but are generally more expensive to run in terms of consumables (ink cartridges).

Laser printers will give your print work a sharper more professional finish and you don’t have to wait for the ink to dry.

The best way to secure your last minute holiday deal

ght (c) 2009 Casper da silva

Let’s commence with the watch words of the year Credit Crunch and reccession, and what it means for holiday seekers this season. I remember when I first started in the Travel Industry last century – I do laugh when I throw that one out – twenty two years ago going on holiday was a luxury to be cherished. By the late eighties quickly followed by the naughty nineties, going on holiday evolved from being a luxury shared by a small minority to becoming an absolute necessity shared by the masses and a way to keep your sanity for the rest of the year. It was also something to aspire to and look forward to and despite the saturation of the travel industry it still holds that certain magic for the great British public going away wanting to leave their humdrum lives behind and live the dream, catching the rays, looking at beautiful sunsets, tasting different foods meeting different people as well as enjoying the culture. Needless to say this year in 2009, there has been a bit of panic about whether going on holiday is going to be a possibility for most couples and families and the media’s ongoing credit crunch mantra hasn’t helped those with fears to the average traveller.

However, I am going to go on record and state with absolute confidence and clarity that this is going to be a dream year for last minute holidays and great bargains will be bountiful in this buyers market. However and there is a ‘however’ to consider you’d better know what to do and when. As any self respecting gambler will tell you, you just have to know when to gamble and when to fold. A last minute holiday booking does not necessarily mean booking your holiday a day before departure to get the best deal, a day before departure can sometimes mean you pay more than your counterpart who booked four weeks before you and sometimes six weeks. If I could count the times I have heard my clients kick themselves in the shin for playing with waiting on brilliant holiday offers they were given and decided to take a gamble and wait till a day before departure thinking they would get it even cheape than chips is in fact a silly gamble and it wont work in your favour. If you have a specific somewhere that you want to go to with a certain type of board in a particular resort, frankly you book your holiday a minimum four weeks before departure so that you can get your particular deal. If however you are the type who wants to just turn up at the airport with a suitcase not caring where you go as long as you get a bit of sun then a few days before departure for a great late holiday deal will suit you just fine.

Again word to the wise, gambling with a last minute holiday a day before a Bank Holiday or the start of any school holidays is a definite no-no, trying to find a suitable last minute holiday bargain a couple of days before you want to get away can be an extremely stressful exercise for a family with specific needs and requirements, so always start looking five to nine weeks before departure. Be prepared when booking a last minute holiday make sure your budget is accounted for on your debit or credit card, losing a holiday to something as routine as a ten minute account to account fund transfer. If you are sans debit or credit cards, then phone a friend or family member and ask them to help you out with the use of their card details which you of course repay, and make sure you have this in place before you start searching for your last minute holiday, as some offers need to be booked and paid for straight away or you may lose out on a great deal by the time you try and sort out ways to pay for your holiday. Remember no one holds options on last minute holidays anymore. You will find companies are more than willing to offer competitive prices, and it’s easy to get caught up in getting companies to compete with each other to get the best deals. But take too long and use too many companies to do your bidding war and it could end up you become the loser, as the electronic data been gathered by the operator gives them the idea that the demand on the holiday you are searching for is great and the price will go up. So snap up that fantastic lasty minute holiday, and do so with some defiance, 2009 is going to be one of the best years to find last minute holiday, so enjoy it!
